This wine is a classical Sauvignon Blanc from the Paso Robles appellation of California.  The finish is long and creamy with citrus, lemongrass, melon, fig and vanilla flavors.  A slight tartness compliments creamy sauces and is a great compliment wine with seafood, or roast pork or chicken.  90pts

The wine has a dense purple color, a big, sweet kiss of garrigue, blackberries, kirsch, barbecue smoke, damp earth, and wild strawberries. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins as well as real opulence and power, this is a big, fleshy Lirac that drinks well now, but should evolve beautifully for up to a decade or more.

70% Malbec 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, it is purple in color, on the nose a splendid bouquet of spice box, incense, lavender, earth notes, black currant, and blackberry with a hint of balsamic in the background.
Full bodied in the mouth with dense, layered flavors and a plush palate feel.  Tremendous wine. 92 points
